Vera Steinkellner, a native of Upper Austria, has worked as an international artist manager and art consultant since 2010, establishing Vera Steinkellner GmbH in 2014. She works intensively in the field of corporate cultural responsibility and edited a publication on this very issue with Springer Gabler in 2016.
Having studied arts and culture management as well as events management in Austria and France, Vera Steinkellner worked as a project manager in an agency business before switching over to the culture industry. By participating in the post-graduate study program “art&economy” as well as working as an assistant to museum director Karlheinz Essl (ESSL MUSEUM), she gained experience in museum management in both the arts and in the private sector. In addition, she enriched her theoretical knowledge of art history at the University of Vienna.
Vera Steinkellner founded and runs the shared work and art space HERMINENGASSE1 and SCHEYGASSE9 in Vienna.
